Küçükburun
Fatih Özgüven's fourth story book Küçükburun. For the thirteen stories in the book, titled Horse, Child, Dog, My Own Gremlin, Whisperers, Trace, Step, Coldness, Ducks, Küçükburun, Snake, Man and Appetiteless, artists made special works: Ahmet Sarı, Funda Özgünaydın, Erdem Ergaz, Turgut Mutlugöz, Ömer Faruk Şimşek, Komet, Ahmet Doğu İpek, İlhan Sayın, Kemal Özen, Leyla Gediz, Gökçen Cabadan, Sadık Arı, Emine Bora and Can Akgümüş.
Özgüven's stories, which can almost be called economical in terms of word use and sentence structure, have no lack of depth and striking. Close, undistant looks at small things. Attentions tuned to the ordinary, the daily, the body. He sees the broken honor of a dog, and the fragile child hidden in a father's will.
