Socialism
Whether socialism still has a future seems to be at the center of all discussions about socialism. In addition to being a unique investigation that layers this question within a conceptual framework, the present study does not neglect to establish a broad paradigmatic ground, from the experience of communism in Cuba to social democracy in Sweden. It offers a perspective that will include all dimensions specific to the debate, from the industrial settlements of the nineteenth century to the anti-capitalist movements within the current structure, to the Greens and feminists. It is not just an account of the past, but also an interesting, rich, detailed discussion on the fate of many altruistic concepts, from equality to solidarity.
