The field of sociology is society, its subject is the events taking place in society, and its aim is to identify, analyze and comment on the general structure, functioning and course of society. Based on the topics of , globalization and religion, sociology as a discipline and the sociology of religion, one of its subdivisions, are examined and presented to the reader.
