Spinoza Book Commentary Apart from God or Nature, says Spinoza, nothing is exempt from the intervention of other things. Thus, life for man is an adventure of exposures. This adventure continues with deaths, separations, births, wars, peace, diseases, healing, etc. It flows, taking us in front of it or behind it. We change. We transform. We forget. We remember. We are human. We remain the same. Philosophy is the thing on earth that resists being sloganized the most, and Spinoza is an example of this. Spinoza is the perpetrator of a thought that deals a blow to all kinds of reductions.
