St Louis Days was published in the poetry series of Yapı Kredi Publications.
Known for his poems, stories, novels, theatre, reviews and children's books, as well as his translations from German to Turkish and from Turkish to German, Yüksel Pazarkaya's primary concern has always been poetry and poetry translation. His poetry adventure, which started with his first book, We Were in Koca Deviations (1968), continues with St. Louis Days. St Louis Days reflects, as a 'poetical diary', the traces of the days spent at Washington University in St Louis, where the poet lived for a while as the 'Writer in residence'.
