Naum Melo's Nâmekân consists of simple poems in a wide range of depth that has experienced and knows the end in terms of language and thought. The subject is the familiar and common stories of Anatolian ordinary heroes, who are shaped as terrifying characters by the bad legacy handed down to new generations by migrations, exiles and massacres, with semantic references to near and distant history. At the level of poetry, what comes to the fore in the book are the poems of longing and love poems of all kinds, sometimes metaphysical, asked to helplessness with the verse arrows directed inwards and outwards by the poet's ontological-dimensional questions, fueled by the poet's selection of investigations and evaluation of silences.
