One of the most crucial phenomena of the polarized world after the Second World War is the cold war. This period, when the people of the world are trying to cope with many political, cultural and economic turmoil, continues to be one of the most controversial topics of discussion in recent history. This study evaluates this historical period, which is considered a very critical transition period for the third world as well as the USA and the Soviet blog, from an objective perspective. While discussing many actors of the period and the dominant ideological concepts of this conflict in a broad perspective, it also reveals the historical results that make it possible to examine some of the fundamental problems of the third millennium. It does not neglect to question a current agenda in which the Cold War continues to exist under various forms.
