Felsefenin Tesellisi
The Consolation of Philosophy is the most important work of the Roman philosopher Boethius, who was accused of being a traitor and thrown into a dungeon without even being tried, and awaiting his execution, which includes his inquiries on divine foresight, fate and free will. It is a magnificent work in which we have the chance to witness, in the language of Philosophy itself, the internal reckoning of a Roman philosopher, who stood on the threshold of the intellectual teachings of the pagan world and the Christian thought of the Middle Ages, with Philosophy. It is a distinguished mix of ideas selected from ancient Greek philosophy, neo-Platonism, Latin literature, and a poetic summary of the views of Plato and Aristotle on the subject, who played a leading role in the history of philosophy until the philosopher's day. Perhaps only one thing can be said for this work: the magnificent dance of faith and reason.
