The Foundation of Philosophy

This study, titled The Establishment of Philosophy, examines how the wisdom-based thought discussed in the book titled Concept of the Universe transformed into philosophy-based thought in the example of Greek civilization.

Was philosophy formed as a result of attempts to answer questions for which wisdom was inadequate, or within the framework of conditions completely independent of wisdom? An answer to the question has also been sought.

The reasons why philosophy emerged only among the Greeks in a region and period where there were many civilizations were also discussed, and in line with the general determinations listed, the development of philosophical thought in the Ancient Greek civilization was conveyed in a problematic context.
