The New Right and the Change of the State
The new right ideology has been saying tirelessly since 1980 that the solution to all social problems lies in reforming the state. Privatization, localization, liberalization, project planning, competition, performance, transparency, governance and freedoms of all kinds, but only with liberal content, are shown as the only escape route against the exhaustion of both humans and nature. Thus, liberalism puts humanity on wax ships in the sea of fire.
This book; It examines, on the example of Turkey, how humanity fell into the trap of market economy in the name of development, project-oriented governance in the name of democracy, and civil and military occupation in the name of liberation, in the last quarter of the twentieth century, in the hope of escaping the pressure of dictatorships and underdevelopment. It shows the wax ships being lowered into the sea of fire and that the solution cannot be found this way.
