They Hid the Secret
Author: Ömer Khayyam, Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi, Hafez
No one understood the secrets they kept inside. Their secrets fell to the ground through their tears, and the tears made the wisdom of the secret grow and give meaning.
It is said that Mevlana made this will: "The best of people is the one who is useful to people. The best of words is the one that is short and understandable." The journey towards the mystery has begun.
It is said that Hayyâm said to Hasan Sabbah; "These people live for heaven, but if you can give them a heaven, you can rule them" became the saying of Hasan Sabbah's life. It is not known whether this word was said or whether Hasan Sabbah's life changed. The known is the state of being penetrated into the secret.
It is said that Hafiz is a great narrator. So what does Hafiz tell? It tells the story of man and language, in a divine position, and how what is outside of language is attributed to him. The curtain of being lost in the secret has been drawn.
When Hafiz, Khayyam and Mevlana come together, ghazals create a curtain for the wisdom of love and that curtain becomes words in the heart, words sail into nothingness and secrets become secret. With Hasim Hüsrevsahi's simple and meaningful translation, the roses of the garden of wisdom open their doors to the nightingale; While the nightingale moans, the garden says the season of love and Hafiz, Khayyam and Mevlana enter.
