Those were the days when an enthusiastic revolutionary wave shook the whole world, and millions of people in dozens of countries stood up and shouted, "Be realistic, demand the impossible"...
In such a world, the Seas also carried the flag of freedom high in Turkey. With their actions, marches and courage, they gave the best answer to the USA, NATO and those who wanted to sell their homeland to local and foreign capital.
And the rulers wanted to take revenge for this surge of freedom on three young people in the darkness of March 12. Without any concrete legal basis, they tried to execute Deniz, Yusuf, Hüseyin and many of their friends and said, "Let's hang them, let's hang them!" They tried to suffocate the struggle for freedom and independence by sending them to the gallows with their screams...
As we present Three Saplings on the Gallows with this new edition, after twenty-two years under oppression, we bow with respect to the memory of the three saplings that "did not fade" on the gallows, with a light of hope still in our eyes in our country, which is being pushed into deep darkness and immorality today...
