Toothpick

Aras Publishing brought together with the readers Kürdan, which consists of the articles of the master writer Migirdiç Margosyan, written in his usual warm and humorous style, published in Yeni Yüzyıl and Yeni Gündem. Toothpick, which is the complementary part of Margosyan's essay series along with Kirveme Letters, Zurna and Çengelliigne, is a selection that highlights the author's unique perspective on social issues.

In these essays covering the events that took place in Turkey and the world between 1995 and 2000, Margosyan reveals to our eyes the facts that lie deep in political, social and cultural developments and are often unseen or undesirable to be seen. When the reader is left alone with Margosyan's deep insight, he realizes that the events he draws attention to are related to deep problems that always maintain their validity.
