Feminist Bir Devlet Kuramına Doğru
"Neither liberalism nor Marxism has established a special relationship between women and the state. Feminism has demonstrated some attitudes of the state on gender discrimination, but what is the reliability of the state, its sources of power, its real sanctioning power in the context of gender? Is it to some extent independent of the interests of men? Or is it an expression of these interests in itself? Is the state founded on the oppression of women? If so, how does the masculine power become state power? Can the state serve the interests of a group whose power it establishes, as in socialism? Can having a relationship change anything? If not, is masculinity inherent in the state form, or can another form of state, another model of government be imagined? As long as these questions are not answered, feminism will always give more power to the state to use it for the benefit of women. She is stuck between her choices of giving power and giving the uncontrolled power in society to men. It is assumed that women will submit to this management, just as the assumption that women generally consent to sexuality has not changed. The question for feminism is: What is the state from a women's perspective?
