The stories I wrote in this third book are the truest stories of the ordinary, simple people of Anatolia, flowing in the "river of light". As the great master Orhan Kemal said, "I write what I experience." I am telling the story of what is in the collective memory. I am trying to write down the words of the past to the present, with all my sincerity. Life is beautiful and meaningful with the abundance of memorable moments.
