Trade and issues related to commerce have been among the economic activities that states have given importance to throughout history. In addition to its economic dimensions, trade; It has often been the subject of political relations, in some periods it has turned states whose economic interests converge at one point into allies, it has served as a bridge to international cultural interaction, and it has contributed to the development of cities depending on the periods due to its mediating role in the interregional transfer of knowledge and technology. In this respect, in this study titled "Commerce in the Mamluks", we tried to examine the commercial activities in the Mamluk period, which had an important place in Turkish-Islamic history, with their political, social and economic dimensions.
