Austrian political scientist and cultural anthropologist Thomas Schmidinger describes Syrian Kurdistan in this book, which won the Mazlum Bagok Kurdish Journalism Award. However, he looks not only at the big political stage, but also at the daily lives of women, young people, artists and ordinary people, and makes their voices heard with his interviews.
