-Benjamin Mosher-
A fantastic world surrounds me and becomes me. I hear the crazy song of a little bird, I crush butterflies between my fingers. I am the apple eaten by a wolf. I await the orgasmic apocalypse. A discordant insect invasion surrounds me, while I am the light of a kerosene lamp. Then I go too far to become one. I'm in a trance. I permeate the air around me. What a fire: I can't stop living. In this forest of words that thickly surrounds everything I feel, think, and experience, and transforms everything I am into something that belongs to me but is still outside of me. I watch while thinking about myself. I wonder: who is that thing inside me that is beyond even thought? I am writing to you because this is a challenge that I will have to accept with humility. My own ghosts are crowding inside me, and whatever is legendary and fantastic, life is supernatural.
-Clarice Lispector-
