We Have No Consent for Servitude - Alevism
Alevism is a human-centered folk doctrine. Alevi philosophy sees everything in humans; Man, who is also the visible face of God, is the highest and most sacred being for Alevis... Alevism, a folk belief based on love for humanity, has a revolutionary essence that is not conservative and bigoted but is open to constant innovation and development. This feature enabled Alevism to integrate with other folk beliefs very quickly.
Pushing aside the understanding of religion and worship that the rulers and Islamic scholars tried to impose on them, the poor of Anatolia, the Alevis, tried to look at the universe and humans in the real world they live in, and tried to build their beliefs and dreams on this reality.
Alevism cannot be understood without seeing the class struggle of Alevis against the feudal Seljuk and Ottoman governments... Alevism rejects the servant-master relationship. The relationship of servitude is one of dependency and exploitation. Relations of dependence and exploitation lie at the basis of social relations in feudal society and in today's capitalist society. This is nothing but a relationship of servitude of the weak to the strong, the poor to the rich, and the dispossessed to the property owner. Alevis do not consent to servitude; The longing of Alevis is a world where all relations of dependency, all relations of exploitation are eliminated, and free and equal relations are established between people.
