Women in History and Today
The history of oppression dates back thousands of years. This history is associated with the social process. Women's falling into the position of the oppressed gender is also a social phenomenon and the product of a certain historical process. For this reason, when addressing the issue of women's liberation, we cannot think of it by detaching it from its social context. When the problems inherited from history and reproducing themselves in different forms today are considered as material elements of historical-social development, it will be possible to draw correct conclusions in the solution of the problem. In this study, the subject has been discussed from many perspectives with its oppressed gender and male-dominated contexts and conclusions have been tried to be drawn.
