I wondered how much I wondered about the house they lived in together, the place where he ran away and hid when he wasn't in my life. I created a house for him where he could fit a life other than us. I walked around his rooms, bathroom and kitchen many times. It would be interesting to see how similar this house, on the threshold of which I now stand, resembles that dream house.
