World Tribunal for Iraq
Will the USA and its supporters determine the fate of humanity? Were Iraqis the only people attacked in Iraq? If we turn a blind eye to this attack, what else will we have to turn a blind eye to? What else will we be exposed to? At the end of this journey, will there be a world left in which we can live?
The World Tribunal for Iraq (WTI) has ruled that the Iraq War, which was initiated before the eyes of the world public opinion by violating all existing international institutions and laws, by openly using the media and spreading lies, and most importantly by violating the will of the massive global opposition, not only destroyed Iraq but also destroyed humanity's future hopes. It was formed by the joining forces of people from all over the world, from all walks of life, who thought that they had destroyed the world.
Taking its inspiration from the Bertrand Russell Trial, which was held as a civilian initiative against the Vietnam War, WTI aims to keep records in order to prevent the repetition of these massacres and violations, to document the historical, economic and political reasons behind the attack and occupation against Iraq, the destruction caused by the attack, and to protect the victors from the war. He aimed to take precautions against people distorting history. During the WTI process, experts, witnesses and journalists were consulted to bring together material that could be used in applications to the International Criminal Court or the United Nations, or in the grounds of refusal of conscientious objectors, and that could inspire new global opposition movements.
This document and book has been published with the hope that we will continue to strive to establish an honorable peace all over the world, especially in Iraq, and to say no to oppression and oppression together.
