Mehmed Uzun and Muhsin Kızılkaya... Two young writers whose paths crossed in Istanbul in the early 90s. First a friend, then a writer-translator, then a relative... The Kurdish novels written by Mehmed Uzun, the creator of the modern Kurdish novel, in exile, in Sweden, and longing for his homeland, were translated into Turkish by Muhsin Kızılkaya in Istanbul. They created a magical readership in a very short time.

Muhsin Kızılkaya wrote the story of these “long” fifteen years he lived with Mehmed Uzun, accompanied by his life, in an extremely artistic style and form. He brought these treasured memories to light with a novel-like book.
