Türk Toplumunda Zazalar ve Kürtler
"As can be observed, one of the dynamic structures of Turkish society today is the tribe-tribal structures and the fact that they are perceived as Zaza-Kurdish. This formation comes to the agenda in the Parliament, communication organs and academic circles on every occasion, and by means of one-way conditioning and creating an image, Facts are excluded. This research once again reveals the fact that, as JJ Rousseau stated: 'Even though we are all different from each other, like musical notes, we are still within each other'.
-Orhan Turkdogan-
Zazas and Kurds in Turkish Society is a field research based on many years of participatory observation and interview techniques and on-site investigation method. In this study, which is a first in its field, Türkdoğan sheds light on the ethno-cultural structures in our Eastern and Southeastern regions, where ethnicity awareness has gained dynamism today. It creates a remarkable picture by going beyond the stereotypical discourses about the languages and origins of Zaza and Kurds. In this table, which is based on two main columns: Zazas and Kurds; It is seen that the belief systems of both groups tend to differentiate between Alevi and Sunni. Therefore, the first step to be taken for social diagnosis and treatment is to determine the identities of these ethnic groups, and the work aims to achieve this goal.
Emphasizing that ethnic differences should be channeled towards integration based on the phenomenon of nationalization, Türkdoğan also offers suggestions and solutions on what can be done against the development and problems of the region in the work.
