The acceptance and spread of Islam among the Turks was due to Ahmed Yesevi's tolerant approach, which did not neglect the old Turkish traditions. Yesevî played an important role in the Turkish nation's faster adoption of Islam by introducing an understanding that blended Islamic belief and worship motifs with pre-Islamic Turkish customs, traditions and traditions. Ahî Evran, inspired by Ahmed Yesevi, aimed to create a Turkish-Islamic synthesis with the same understanding. Ahî Evran saw the tradesmen who were close to the people as the locomotive of being settled in Anatolia and established a tradesmen's union based on the Turkish-Islamic synthesis. This understanding, based on the principles of solidarity and brotherhood, incorporated the motif of unity and solidarity in order to survive against the old beliefs and especially Byzantium in the new homeland. For this reason, only Turks and Muslims were accepted into the Ahi unions. Because the only way to stay in this country forever is to ensure and maintain unity and solidarity. For this reason, the Ahis made great efforts to end the ongoing fights between the Anatolian Principalities and unite them under a single power. In this sense, it would not be wrong to say that the founding philosophy of the Ottoman Empire was determined by the Ahis. In order for our beautiful country to become stronger, in this new century we are in, it is very important to revitalize the institution and principles of Akhism in order to strengthen our national unity and solidarity and surpass the level of contemporary civilization. As a matter of fact, the decision to establish Ahi funds in order to ensure solidarity among tradesmen is extremely pleasing in this respect.
