“CHP General Secretariat was the center of the organization. All mutual communication, correspondence and contacts of the CHP center with the provincial organization were carried out through the general secretariat. The circulars sent by the party center to the organization also announced the main direction of the party to the organization.
It would be misleading to think that the sole mission of the CHP General Secretariat consists of this. On the contrary, the general secretariat was not only a body in contact with the provincial organization and management of the party. On the one hand, the General Secretariat tries to meet the requests and questions from its organization in order to know and learn the needs of the organization; On the other hand, he was trying to direct his organization. But besides this, the General Secretariat was trying to fulfill another important mission; This meant contacting and establishing ties with various segments of society.”
