This book was written to guide parents in raising healthy and safe children. The basic material of the book was the "Parent-Father School" project, which has been carried out by Istanbul University Department of Educational Sciences for 23 years. In this project, which has been carried out in 27 provinces under the sponsorship of Ülker since 1989, a total of 17 000 families have been reached. This event was followed by "Ülker Teacher Talks" for 7800 teachers in 6 provinces and "Country Education Managers Talks" held in three major provinces.
In this book, based on thousands of questions asked by parents during all these activities, the most frequently encountered problems while raising children and ways to deal with these problems were examined.
