
Stories That Come at Night
Stories Coming at Night, starting from the unwritten stories born in Tuncer Erdem's Limon magazine, were published in magazines such as Deli, Nankör, Öküz, Express. consists of comic stories from a period of approximately twenty years.
It started in the middle of the night in 1985, when Istanbul was buried in snow, in the scruffy and messy working environment of Limon magazine, and was published once a week in the feverish nights of various magazines. Drawn in unstable moods during his work, the deep night silence, the rush to finish the work, the noise of the printing house, the shouts of the boza sellers, the tea and coffee wakefulness, the bloodshot eyes, the crackling of the scanning tip, the feeble acrobat lights, the cold leaking through the cracked glass, the beer hall breaks, the escapades of the tripe sellers, the reckless Stories accumulated over the years, born accompanied by conversations, uncontrolled laughter, unnecessary irritability, introversion, external attacks, outbursts of enthusiasm, and bouts of sadness...
These stories have been written in very different periods and environments over the years. Even though they were drawn, the common feature of all of them was that they were drawn in a magazine room overlooking the back street, the story came at midnight and the drawing ended with the first light of the day...
