The actions of millions of people who took action with the flare fired by a group of citizens in Taksim Gezi Park, drawing attention to ecological sensitivity, and criticizing and changing the neoliberal and conservative policies of the AKP government in a short time, undoubtedly opened a new page in the history of democracy in Turkey and the world. The return of values such as "commune", "sharing", "solidarity", "collective behavior", which have not been mentioned for a while, at least in the eyes of the public, to never leave us again is, in a word, magnificent! The "red card" that a large number of people from different segments of society, especially young people, took out of their pockets for days by standing against all kinds of pressure from the police, the government's authoritarian statements of all sizes and colors, the false, false and false broadcasts of the media, and the lynching attempts of pro-government civilians on the streets, is the "red card" in the game of democracy. It was an important warning against the illegal, oppressive and unlawful AKP team.

Gezi quickly became a milestone in the history of social struggles, a radical breaking point, and a new kind of struggle tradition that went down in history with bright letters. The fact that everyone who calls themselves an opponent has a story about the Gezi process is also a very pleasing development for the democratic struggle. With Gezi, democracy ceased to be an abstract topic of discussion and became flesh and blood wherever there was resistance. Resistance ceased to be a third person narrative and was enriched with the perspectives of first and plural persons and evolved into a grounded dialectic.

The book in your hand contains the political, class, cultural, psychological, sexual, etc. It draws attention to many different dimensions, including: This book, which brings together writers from the new generation with writers whose names have come to the fore in Turkey's struggle for democracy since the late 1960s, underlines that the struggle for democracy must now be addressed together with a different form of opposition, language, organization and action. One of the most important features of this book is that it not only tries to understand this new language, but also tries to use this language as a native speaker with a rebirth. This study, enriched with contributions from England, America, Malta and Greece in the name of international solidarity, also shows that Turkey is no longer a lonely and distant country where models abroad are implemented, but that it has turned into an arena of resistance where the struggle for democracy is watched with worldwide interest.
