Kur'an'ın Tarihçesi ve Yazım Serüveni
In this book titled "The History and Writing Adventure of the Quran", Arif Tekin takes as reference the book Kitabu'l Mesahif/Mushaflar by Ibni Ebi Davud, who lived in the second half of the third century of the Hijri and wrote many books, and compares it with the information in Islamic sources; Hz. It examines whether the Quran existed as a book in the time of Muhammad.
In this book, the author based the reference works of the Islamic community; III of his study. By discussing different Mushafs starting from the chapter, Caliph Abu Bakr, Hz. Omar, Caliph Osman, Hz. It evaluates the Quran studies of Ayşe and Umm Salama and presents it to the reader. When these Mushafs are looked at one by one, many question marks about the Quran stand out.
Arif Tekin explains this book, which questions the writing adventure of the Quran, by saying, “First of all, if there was a creator of the universe as claimed behind the Quran, his verses would not have been collected and compiled into a book in such an unhealthy way. In contrast to Caliph Ömer's statement that the Quran consisted of one million and 27 thousand letters, the number of letters in the Quran that exists today is around 323 thousand, and according to Ömer's claim, three quarters of the Quran do not exist at the moment.
In today's environment where religion is intertwined with politics, scientific opinion has been eliminated and religious wars have turned the world into a bloodbath, this striking book by Arif Tekin that questions religion should be read.
