Kurdish Story

Kurds have a very rich oral culture. Oral narrations are the most important documents used to shed light on the history of a society. These products are mythological products, epics, legends, fairy tales, folk tales, legends of saints, folk songs, anecdotes, dengbêjs, laments, lullabies, idioms, proverbs and memories.
Even though these cultural products were compiled and recorded very late, they have lived on for centuries as a tradition in the lives and memories of Kurds. Some literary works were written between the lines of history books, travelogues of travelers, and some were written in Ottoman magazines, but were overlooked. If these products are subjected to meticulous criticism, they reveal the social and political structure of the Kurds, their cultural resources, world of thought, their struggle with nature, their daily lives, humor tradition, tribal fights, marriages and migrations, wars and heroism, love, pain, longing and anger. We can obtain information.
In this book, a selection from history books, legends, travelogues, Kurdish folk tales and Kurdish tales, memories, stories of Kurdish writers was prepared and the Kurdish Story was written.
