This book is a book about the short but full life of Necmettin Giritlioğlu, who was shot and killed at the age of 26 as soon as the strike started at the door of the Aliağa Refinery, as well as a book of a period. In order to know and understand Necmettin Giritlioğlu better, the author tries to find a place where the left, the workers' movement and the revolutionary wave rose; It tells the years 1960-11 and 1970, in which Givitlioğiu was a part and which shaped him, with documents and witnesses. Giritlioğlu's road, which started in Ankara when he stood against injustice when he was a child, went to Ereğli Demir Çelik with Jack London's beloved novel Demir Heel in his hand, and from there to Aliağa.
