Central Anatolian Kurds

When the regions where Kurds live in Turkey are mentioned, 'East and Southeast' immediately come to mind. However, a significant Kurdish population lives in the central parts of Anatolia, especially in various provinces around the Tuz Lake. For what reasons and when did these Kurds, whose numbers are measured in millions, come to this region that is not considered their homeland? What kind of life did they establish here, how did they maintain their relationships with their environment? How did they preserve their language and traditional way of life? Where did they migrate from here?... This book tries to answer these questions, which can be multiplied even more. The book, which was created as a result of scanning a number of studies in this field and trips to the region, adds new details to Kurdish history, in which the concepts of "migration, exile, settlement, asylum" hold a special place. The book is completed with a bibliography containing books and articles written on the Kurds of the region and many old photographs.
