Non-Muslim Communities in the Late Ottoman Period Book Description Non-Muslim communities were one of the factors affecting the survival of the state in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. Non-Muslims, who constitute the human element of a significant part of the disintegrating parts of the disintegrating state, have an important place both in examining the period and in the international relations of the relevant states due to the problems they left to the subsequent periods.
