Psikanaliz ve Zen Budizm
Although psychoanalysis and Zen are concerned with human nature and a practice that leads to transformation, the differences between them outweigh the similarities. Psychoanalysis is a scientific method, completely independent of religion. Zen is a technique and theory of attaining “enlightenment,” an experience that may be viewed as religious or mystical in the West. Psychoanalysis is a treatment for mental disorders, while Zen is a way of spiritual liberation. What conclusion can an examination of the relationship between psychoanalysis and Zen-Buddhism lead us to, other than a statement that there is a fundamental and irreconcilable difference between them?
