About Sartre and Sartre
Jean-Paul Sartre is probably the most prominent thinker in all of modern history in terms of the consistency between his thoughts and actions. His biography and his works are both a chronicle of twentieth-century experiences and an ethical proposition that has had a profound impact on others. Sartre and About Sartre includes three interviews conducted in the second half of the 60s and the first half of the 70s. These interviews, conducted with the editors of the New Left Review magazine and with Simone de Beauvoir, about the basic concerns in her work, her perspective on women's struggle and hierarchy in the world order, are still extremely current today, despite the long time that has passed.
