Reading or Understanding?

When I read the poems for the first time, I was confused by the content rather than the form. “There is so much death inside,” I said to myself. It was as if death was the leading role in all narratives... But as I continued reading, I realized that the image of "death" was actually the scream of a soul that desires to live and keep alive. They say the greatest lesson life gives is death. The poems seem to say "Take a lesson!" I saw him throw the facts in our faces as if to say. I heard a sensitive soul shouting that death could not hold him captive in a geography and culture where living properly, decently and humanely was as difficult as carrying a glowing fire in the palm of your hand. For the first time, I heard a loyal voice that so vividly described living with death, pain, trauma, and love, which is the name of life. A loyal inner feeling between two people that is not overt or revealed... As you read, you will see that every death and every pain experienced in the poems is actually a cry for life and keeping alive. As you read, you will see how an individual challenges the world. With his loudest voice, the poet says to all evil, ignorance, prejudice, injustice, wrong traditions, betrayals, disloyalty and lovelessness, "Enough is enough!" he says, to the most deaf ears... Read it and hear the value of life once again from Death, the greatest teacher. Listen to reunions from separations, joy from pains, betrayal from loyalty. Read it and see how pain and sorrow make a person...

I call these narratives free sonnets. It's like a sonnet, but there are no rules, no restrictions, no handcuffs... There is melody, timbre and harmony for those who want to hear it. But mind first, heart first, soul first... Read, read with feeling, without getting caught up in forced rhymes, sounds or melodies. Because these narratives appeal not only to the ear, but rather to the mind, heart and soul. Otherwise, what is the difference between a good poem and an entertaining song? What can we say? Since death is the final fate, then: "If a person has to die, let him die of love."
