Many books and articles have been written by many different circles and individuals to date about the uprising that Muslim Kurds started in 1925 under the leadership of Sheikh Said Efendi and his comrades in Turkish Kurdistan against Mustafa Kemal's policies of rejecting and denying the Kurds, and this uprising has been viewed from very different perspectives. In addition to those who consider Sheikh Said Efendi's Uprising as a rebellion, there are also those like me who say that it was a national and religious movement.
The Republic of Turkey, with all its institutions and organizations, directly evaluates the issue as the "Sheikh Said Rebellion." They point out that Muslim circles that are knowledgeable about the issue look at this issue more objectively, and that it is mostly intertwined as a religious and national movement, and that it would be wrong to evaluate it separately.
Assuming that the views and determinations put forward by the esteemed authors on the subject are their own, I will also have my own views and determinations in this study.
However, in this study, I will try to focus more on the starting point of the movement, the course of developments, and the revealing of some general and regional realities that have remained hidden until now.
I will try to explain, through witness testimonies, how to reveal and understand some known facts as well as unknown issues, and how to eliminate the information pollution created around the facts to the extent possible. You will also read about the relationships, loyalties, mistakes and betrayals of the families participating in the operation.
