My father would come and it would be evening.
The acacia tree in the garden gathers the birds throughout the day,
He would place them on our bed as dream balls.
My father appeared like a black and white photograph.
Trucks always went far away, always at night.
At that time, I thought all these fathers would keep silent.
My father was a gnashing of teeth who only talked with a kerosene lamp.
The doors would open and close with a tremor.
He never liked God and long talkers.
The world was a fear made of my father.
