Canterbury Tales
The Canterbury Tales, a product of Chaucer's mature period, were designed in accordance with the example of "a series of stories within a frame story", which is the most common literary form of almost all ages. In addition to the maturity of its language and narration, its features such as the telling of stories by different people, the vividness of the description of these people, and the presentation of the relationships between the narrator and the story, distinguish the work from similar series of stories. Although the Canterbury Tales did not reach the volume Chaucer had predicted, it is still a giant work. This essential masterpiece of English literature is in Turkish for the first time, with a full-text translation from the old English original.
