Suffering of Children
London. A city where no one feels safe and one person's crime can be another person's justice. A pedophile is brutally murdered in his own home, and police question the victims' families to protect others committing similar crimes. It's an ordinary day at work for Detective Will Wagstaffe - or Staffe, as he is known by his friends and enemies. But nothing is simple in this case. Staffe's personal life has also long been complicated. In addition to the heartbreak he inherited from his ex-girlfriend, the dark shadow of his mentor and former colleague Jessop makes things even more complicated.
Looking for answers in the dark streets of the city, Staffe is forced to accept that the border between right and wrong is becoming increasingly blurry. The detective has to upset his loved ones to achieve justice. While trying to find the culprit, the main question everyone must answer is: To protect your children?
