Cumhuriyet Halk Fırkası'nın Tüzüğü (1927) ve Kürt Sorunu
Although CHF's Statute (1927) is an important political document and is implemented to the letter, the Turkish university, Turkish professors, in short, Turkish thought, have never mentioned this charter. The Turkish writing world did its best to keep this political document out of sight. However, those who want to approach Turkey's last half-century political life using the scientific method and those who try to comprehend the facts and factual relations in a holistic manner cannot keep this document out of sight.
Today, problems related to the Ottoman Empire are discussed in detail. However, the basic forms of relations that determine the structure of today's Turkish society, especially the Kurdish society, were developed during the single-party period. The emergence of the Kurdish Nation Problem as a fundamental problem in the Near East begins immediately after the "Lausanne Conference to Solve Near Eastern Affairs" imperialist division over Kurdistan and the "divide and rule" policy implemented against the Kurdish nation. However, the official ideology, Kemalism, prevented approaching Turkey's recent history with a scientific method. He reinforced this obstruction with criminal laws and many different threats. In recent history; They impose and command that political, military, economic, social and cultural relations be viewed within the framework of this ideology.
That's why they try to keep out of sight documents such as the CHF's Charter (1927), which provide important clarity to the single-party period. They are trying to prevent today's generations from learning these things. However, this attitude does not give information about societies or their future. It is not possible to have information about societies without considering them in the dimension of time and space. This requires starting from facts and always taking factual relationships into consideration. Therefore, it requires fighting against Kemalism, the official ideology that prevents the production of scientific knowledge.
It is not possible to produce scientific knowledge within the framework of official ideology, accepting its norms as indisputable data. In terms of understanding the official ideology, the CHF Charter (1927) is an important document. I hope it will be criticized for enlightenment and historical awareness!
