A group of amateur ghost hunters spent an unforgettable night in a dilapidated house just outside a nondescript seaside town. And from that day on, nothing was the same. Two of the ghost hunters never wanted to talk about this experience again. The third one was not in a position to talk anyway.

Years later, a group of young people came to the same place. Jezza, the leader of the group, ignored the objections of the others and entered the house. When he returned, he had a children's book in his hand. A book full of strange and colorful stories. A fairy tale world full of Jacks, Queens and Kings, unicorns and wolves.

But what they found was not a storybook. This book, written by a mysterious man who lived at the beginning of the century, would bring frightening events and a terrible end. While everyone in the town was fascinated by the book, a big event that would turn the whole world into hell began to approach rapidly. Soon, only a young science fiction enthusiast and his father, Martin, a mathematics teacher, would be left standing against this power emanating from the book.
