Democratic Communal Economy and Economic Teachings

Every civilization produces meanings based on the institutionalized characteristics of the material and spiritual values that create it. It chooses ways to build social potentials within the context of time and space. In this sense, the dialectic of civilizational development displays a cumulative development feature as the struggle of opposites. The five-thousand-year history of civilizational development has the feature of being a history that describes the struggle of two forms of civilization within this dialectical relationship. More concretely, the history of civilization names a struggle between the cumulative history of the central civilization system and the Democratic civilization system. While the first pole of this civilization is the perpetuation of alienation from social nature and accumulation of power and state monopolization as a system of exploitation, the other pole is the Democratic civilization system that comes into being through the social unit and creations of the moral and political society. The more modern expression of these two systems of opposition appears as the capitalist modernity system and the democratic modernity system.
