Serif Mardin, who is one of the leading names in our intellectual life due to his important contributions to the history of thought, religion and political sociology in Turkey, has left out the official interpretation of phenomena such as religion, modernization and Westernization, which have been on the agenda in our society for more than a century, and the social ground and examines them with their background.
