Emotions or Moods, which was translated from Latin into Turkish for the first time, was shaped during Descartes' correspondence with Henricus Regius, professor of medicine at Utretch University, and Princess Elisabeth, and gradually expanded with Princess Elisabeth's curious questions and inquiries, turning into a comprehensive work, and his last work. It has gained a privileged place in the history of thought.

This work, in which the human inner world is analyzed item by item within the logical framework, experience is defined one by one by participating in the work, and a map of the human emotional world is created, so to speak, has become a reference source of contemporary philosophy on the subjects of the body-soul dilemma and human psychology, and has been used by many writers, especially Spinoza. It has opened the door to brand new discussions for the contemporary philosopher.
