In the book; In the papers presented at the symposium titled "The Armenian Question in the Grip of Imperialism" held in Mersin with the participation of 11 scientists, writers and politicians, the reflections of the Armenian Question from past to present, the lies made up on the Deportation Issue and especially the last period of the Ottoman Empire and during World War I were discussed. The point at which the cooperation between the Armenian committee members and the occupation forces has reached, the actions of the Asala terrorist organization and the current state of the Armenian Question are presented with the historical data of the participants.

The Ottoman Empire was a large empire with a culture different from the West, spread over a very strategically important geography in the Asian, European and African continents in the early 18th century. For this reason, it has always been a target of the West. Western states, which had completed the industrial revolution at the end of the 19th century, could not catch up with the industrial revolution process, so they implemented the project known as the "Eastern Question" in order to disintegrate the backward Ottoman Empire and expel the barbarian Turks from these lands;
First, the Ottoman lands became an open market for the industrial products of the West, and underground and surface resources became raw materials. When the Ottoman Finance, which was in debt, declared bankruptcy, the Public Debt Administration was established and all underground and aboveground resources and revenues were confiscated, and after the First World War, ; With Mudros and Sèvres, the last Ottoman lands were occupied and the "Eastern Question" was put to an end, and Armenians and Kurds also benefited from this sharing by gaining the right to establish an independent state.
However, this project could not be concluded with the Lausanne Treaty and was left unfinished.
