Eylül
Eylul, which focuses on the individual and makes deep spiritual analyses, has gained the distinction of being the first psychological novel of our literature with this aspect. Just as it was the subject of many works at the time it was written, "forbidden love" and the storms created by "forbidden love" in the human soul and life are also the subject of Eylül.
The novel, in which descriptions play an important role, also offers important clues about Istanbul and daily life in the 1900s. Eylül, which was first serialized in Servet-i Fünun magazine when it was written, is Mehmet Rauf's most important work.
