Hecîyê Cindî (1908-1990), a researcher and master writer of Kurdish folklore, was a well-known person on Kurdish folklore in Yerevan as well as in the Soviets. He has nearly 100 works on folklore, folklore and Kurdish folklore. Hikyatêd Cimaeta Kurda, which forms a part of these researches and compilations, was compiled in the 1930s and published gradually in 6 volumes from 1961 to 1990 in Cyrillic alphabet in Yerevan. Rûpel publications planned to publish these works, which total nearly 1500 pages, in 6 volumes in the Latin alphabet, in accordance with the original. There are a total of 240 fairy tales and stories in all its volumes. Mîrze Meheme, Keçelok, Gulbarî, Dawid Pêxember, Silqo, Silêman Pêxember, Şemo, Keçika Famdar, Çîroka Teyrê Sîmir, Çilkezî and many more stories are included in the book.

These stories, tales, etc., which he compiled by traveling from village to village 70-80 years ago. The works are an important source for researching the social structure of that period, the thoughts of the society on many issues, and the Kurdish language of that period.
