In this work, which is the product of six years of effort, Alp Altınörs focuses on illuminating the existential crisis of capitalism and clarifying the framework of the socialism alternative with current developments.

Altınörs deals with the existential (organic) crisis of capitalism in the first part of the book, and in the second part, he draws attention to the role that robot technology, which is incompatible with capitalism, can play under social ownership (socialism). The third part consists of a discussion with the "communalism" movement, which gained a certain place in left thought in the period before the great recession, and extends to Venezuela and Chávez. The fourth and final part deals with a topic of discussion that has remained hot since the 1990s, "class, identity and subject", and focuses on categories such as the oppressed, the poor and the excluded.
